Managing Settings

Rayo provides comprehensive settings management across profile, project, and billing levels. Update your personal information, configure project-specific settings, manage integrations, and control your subscription-all from intuitive, centralized interfaces.

Profile Settings

Manage your personal account information, security settings, and billing preferences.

Accessing Profile Settings

• • Click your profile icon in the top-right corner
• • Select Profile Settings from the dropdown menu

General Information

Update your personal details:

• • Navigate to the Profile tab
• • Modify the following fields:
  • - Your Name: Full name displayed in your account
  • - Phone Number: Contact number
  • - Company Name: Your business or organization name
• • Click Save Changes to apply updates

Note: Your registered email address cannot be changed. Contact support if you need to modify your email.

Password Reset

Change your account password:

1. 1. Go to Login and Security tab
2. 2. Enter your New Password
   • - Password requirements:
   • - At least 8 characters
   • - One uppercase letter
   • - One lowercase letter
   • - One number
   • - One special character
3. 3. Confirm your new password by entering it again
4. 4. Click Save New Password

Project Settings

Each project represents one website or brand. Configure project-specific settings that apply to all blogs created within that project.

Accessing Project Settings

• • Open the project you want to configure from the All Projects page
• • Click Settings (gear icon near the project logo)
• • Or access via the left sidebar navigation

Project Settings are organized into three tabs: General, Branding, and Integrations.

General Tab

Configure basic project information and target audience.

Project Name

• • Edit the project name (e.g., "Apple", "Tech Blog", "Client XYZ")
• • This displays in your project cards and navigation

About Business

• • View and modify your products/services list
• • Initially populated by analyzing your website during setup
• • Add new products/services as your business evolves
• • Remove outdated offerings

Target Audience

Define who your content targets:

• • Gender: Male, Female, Non-binary, or All
• • Language Preference: English (USA) or English (UK)
• • Age Groups: Teenagers (13-17), Young Adults (18-24), Adults (25-49), Seniors (50+)
• • Location: Worldwide or specific regions

Branding Tab

Control brand voice, visual style, content sources, and content filtering.

Default Cover Image Style (Pro Only)

• • Select from 11 artistic styles for automatic cover image generation
• • Styles include: Knitted Yarn, Pop Art, Comic Book, Claymation, Ghibli Anime, and 6 more
• • Click Change to update the selected style
• • All future blog cover images will use this style

Brand Tone Configuration

Customize your brand voice across four dimensions:

• • Formality: Ceremonial, Formal, Semi-formal, Conversational, Colloquial
• • Attitude: Reverent, Respectful, Direct, Witty, Bold, Irreverent
• • Energy: Serene, Grounded, Upbeat, Excitable, Hype-driven
• • Clarity: Technical, Precise, Clear, Simplified, Abstract, Poetic
• • Writing Style: First Person (I, We, Our) or Second Person (You, Your)

These settings apply to all blogs in this project, ensuring a consistent brand voice across your content.

Source Settings

Control which sources Rayo uses for research:

Content Sources Toggle:

• • Use all sources + Included URLs: Searches broadly but prioritizes your specified domains
• • Only use Included URLs: Exclusively uses domains you specify

Include URLs (0/5 limit):

• • Add domains to prioritize for research (e.g., harvard.edu, nytimes.com)
• • These sources receive higher priority during content generation

Exclude URLs (0/5 limit):

• • Add domains to completely ban from research
• • Useful for excluding competitor sites or low-quality sources

Ban Words Filter

Prevent specific words from appearing in generated content:

• • Content Filtering Toggle: Enable or disable the filter
• • Ban Words List (0/10 maximum): Add words to filter
• • AI automatically avoids banned words during generation

Common uses:

• • Brand protection (competitor names)
• • Compliance (regulated terms)
• • Brand voice consistency (jargon elimination)
• • Content appropriateness

Integrations Tab

Connect Rayo to your CMS for one-click publishing.

CMS Integrations

Currently Available:

• • WordPress: Click Connect, authenticate with credentials
• • Shopify: Click Connect, authenticate with credentials

Coming Soon:

• • Drupal
• • Webflow
• • Zapier (enables hundreds of additional platforms)

Connecting a CMS:

1. 1. Click Connect next to your CMS
2. 2. Enter your CMS credentials
3. 3. Grant necessary permissions
4. 4. Once connected, use the Connect CMS button in the blog editor to publish

💡 Tip: Connect your CMS once at the project level, and all blogs in that project can be published with one click.

Saving Changes

Always save your settings modifications to ensure they take effect.

Applying Updates

• • After making any changes, click Save Changes in the top-right corner
• • Changes apply to future blogs created in the project
• • Existing blogs retain the settings they were created with

When Settings Take Effect

• • Profile Settings: Immediate effect across your account
• • Project Settings - General/Branding: Apply to all new blogs created after saving
• • Project Settings - Integrations: Available immediately for publishing

Billing & Subscription Settings

Manage your wallet, view transactions, and control your subscription.

Accessing Billing Settings

• • Click your profile icon in the top-right
• • Select Profile Settings > Plans and Billing

Wallet Management

• • Available Balance: Displays current wallet funds
• • Add Money: Click "Add money to wallet" to recharge
• • Credit Usage: View percentage used in Account Updates sidebar
• • Transaction Logs: Review all past transactions

Subscription Management

Current Plan:

• • View your current workspace (Free or Pro)
• • See features included in your plan

Upgrade to Pro:

• • Click the upgrade option
• • Choose billing cycle (Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly)
